Best sample player for 1 shot drum sample

I have a one shot clap drum sample I want to trigger from another module. What’s the best sample player to use?

I used the clocked sample player which worked OK. But I don’t need to clock it. And I only want it to play when triggered externally.

If your sample is already the correct pitch at ER-301’s native WAV sample rate, the raw player will consume the least resources. Otherwise use Varispeed player. Make sure to set the playback mode to one-shot (duration = once).
