Can you check if yours ER has continuity on i2c pin

I have to ask a pleasure to everybody.

Yesterday i’ve found a continuity between the gnd and the sda.
Brian told me:

‘As for i2c, SDA could have a pretty low impedance to ground (it is an open collector after all).’

I found it when the er was switched off and also when it was on.
A guy on facebook told me that he has no continuty (his faderbank works perfectly).

Would you like to test yours?

Thanks in advice

@odevices @Joe I tag you because you are my reference guide.

Like I said, it is OK because SDA is an open-collector. Since you did not read the link that I sent you, here is the relevant quote:

An open collector is a common type of output found on many integrated circuits (IC), which behaves like a switch that is either connected to ground or disconnected.

By the way, do NOT test continuity while a circuit is powered. I am not responsible for damage done this way.

Thx @odevices for replying.
I read all your links and posts, w
Was only a doubt and ask to the community. That’s it.

I made It with a pro technician.
I won’t do by my self, because i’m not a technician and i’m used to ask to people that knows more than me. That’s why i ask you if it was normal.
