Click on Sample loop

Using a variable speed playback I’m hearing slight click on sample loop even on zero crossings and when the wave sync is matched. I initially tried with some super metroid snes samples then tried with pure saw waves to make sure its not my mistake. single cycle has no problem at all. I’m away from my gear at the moment so I cant give any examples. firmware is 4.0 stable

if the file is stereo it might be on zero crossing on one channel only. other than that there is the “fade” slider on the varispeed you can use to get rid of clicks

Thanks for the tip. I’m fairly new to sampling so those techniques are new to me, doing it in a daw a little they add in those fades automatically so you don’t learn the nitty gritty details that can be so useful with the er-301.
