I too am interested in modifying my ER-101 snapshots and am hitting this barrier running Mac OS Monterey. Is there a method of doing this using dfuprogrammer and the ER-101 Common or is the app required?
Yes, modify the source code, compile and flash using dfu-programmer.
This is the method I’ve been using for my custom firmware.
Ah cool. I poked around the firmware but where are the snapshots and patterns stored?
Might reconsider the hacking route. It seems like entering my compositions manually might take about the same amount of effort.
Your response doesn’t give me a whole lot of confidence in your firmware abilities if you were unable to search and look into snapshot, describe ‘hacking’ the source code and seem to give up easily.
