ER-301 - Development for Beginners

Hi,

I would like to know if anyone has some tips for those who would like to start developing for er-301.
In my case I have some overall knowledge of coding, learned C++ , pascal basics a long time ago and basic JS, CSS and MaxMSP more recently. I don’t code on a regular basis but I have structure and logic knowledge on algorithm, which could be a start.

Nevertheless I would perhaps need a fresh reboot. Would someone be kind enough to leave a few tips on which would perhaps be the best starting point on developing for er-301?
