Major and minor scale

Hi!

Is it possible to import custom scales to the 101? Or do i need a 102 for that?

I just want a major and a minor scale, maybe it’s already in there?

There is no import but you can enter and store any scale you want on the module itself.

Thanks Brian! Will the scale adjust if I change the root note or do I need to do, for example, a major scale per note?

You tune the root note at your oscillator not the sequencer. The 1V/oct standard can only communicate pitch intervals not absolute pitches.

On a related matter, you can change the root note that is used to calculate the displayed note values but this has no impact on the output voltage.
