Slices in Grain Stretch

Dear folks

Sorry for the noob question:

I need to get rid of the silence in a sample recorded to card. It’s just like e few milliseconds in the beginning. I did not found a trim function so I thought I could set a slice where I want the sample to start. So I found that function in the buffer edit page. But how do I trigger the slice?

You can trim a sample. Click on the header and go into the edit functions. Scroll down and take advantage of the trim feature

I found the cut function in the edit buffer menu but thanks a lot.
