Split step duration issue

I noticed tonight that if the current step is being looped (e.g. both loop start and end set for the same step), holding down “duration” to split the step duration causes the display to show the current step length for both sides of the split and the value can not be adjusted. For example, if the current step has a duration of 12, and the next step has a duration of 20, the display says ‘12:12’ instead ‘12:20’ as expected, and turning the encoder has no effect. This only happens if both loop start and loop end are at the same step. Is this expected?

Yes, this is expected. DURATION+KNOB is not splitting a step by the way. It is moving the boundary between the current step and the next (while respecting any loop points).

Got it, thanks Brian!
